recall/obedience in high arousal state has been my tough nut to crack. Also getting him to calm down after alerting or barking at something he deems a threat. Hoping to work with a trainer on those issues. Some of it is for sure age related, since he's still young.
I have a 1.5 inch kong brand flat collar that has a handle on it that works well. I like having the handle on the collar incase he gets unruly and you need the extra control.
I've had to basically do nylon bones and then what I do when they get sharp I'll use the dremel to sand it smooth again to get a little more use out of it. I don't like antlers as they're too hard and I worry he'll chip a tooth. I have the same issues with a lot of bark box stuff too but...
