Abaddon, aka Abby was born September 25th 2020. She is a champion bloodline German import west showline gsd. Or whatever. Besides her papers, she's just my girl!

She's not my first gsd and won't be my last but she is definitely the smartest, sassiest and most independent gsd I've owned. Her favorite toy ever is a frisbee, I believe she'd choose a frisbee over me her human. She loves salmon and broccoli! She doesn't like peanut butter but loves almond butter!

She like many others has a sensitive stomach but that's never slowed her down! Abaddon is named after a character from the TV show Supernatural. Because of her champion bloodlines she has a red tint to her fur. Supernatural doesn't fall short of red hair characters and Abaddon is a sweet gsd name!

Igot her while I was working with my previous gsd Rex, a 120lb working line! Our trainer mentioned he was getting a litter and I just knew I had to have one so he picked out my baby girl for me! I've worked with gsd's with protection training and some service dog training, mostly public access. Though I have a good amount of experience training gsd's, I am extremely easy on my baby girl. It really is a situation where I live in HER house and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Welcome Jes to GSDHQ! It's great to have you and Abby around. She's beautiful.

I can't believe she'd take almond butter over peanut butter! Must not have a sweet tooth.

Thank you! We're both happy to be here!

Ah, even more proof she's my dog. I'd choose savory over sweet any day!

Welcome! West German Showlines are absolutely stunning, and the red tint sounds beautiful. It sounds like she is the perfect mix of sassy and sweet. Anyone who turns their nose up at peanut butter for almond butter is definitely a queen! 👑

My baby is a ginger too! I have her lineage and registration paperwork somewhere but never really cared. All I know is she’s the smartest one I’ve had too! Learned to open the back door at 5 months from both the outside and inside so she could come and go as she pleased! We have since replaced the lever handle with a knob but she still tries!

Thank you! I adore them all so much. Her red really shows in the spring time and after a bath lol...

I've never cared either, she's just my home girl. I do make fun of her sometimes for being so special and such a champion, who's afraid of using stairs lol. I've been told the red tint is due to champion lineages but I don't know how true that is. However from all the other champion bloodlines I've worked with, it seems true!

Oh my goodness, my patio door has a child lock on it because she did the same thing! We moved when she was about 7 months old and first thing she did was open the patio door! I dropped everything, we went on a little car ride to the hardware store and fixed that before she could try again. She has also locked me out twice and as a pup jumped out a window when her best friend was walking by.

They're a handful as pups!

Thank you! They're such wonderful dogs, I love all gsd's (obviously, I'm here!) but something about the show lines just steal my heart. She definitely has the royalty attitude, until we go outside and play in the mud!

Honestly our girls could be cousins! She looks like fun though! We are working on learning to throw away trash right now. I mean, they’re smart enough so why not teach them to clean the house too!! Just gotta find a way to channel that intelligence into something else and bonus points if it’s something that makes your life easier!!
