A kind hello from the Maritimes! My name is Ash, and this is Chase (also called Chasey), my 6 month old puppy! He was purchased because my senior blind dog got nervous in the house alone, and he's been a really good help to him.

I often call Chase my cow because he likes to lay in grass and has very little motivation for anything other than eating and playing.

I look forward to chatting with you all!

Welcome, Ash! Chase is such a handsome little guy, I can totally see why you call him your cow based on your description. Sounds like he’s got a perfect mix of playfulness and calm. That’s awesome he’s helping your senior pup too. Excited to see more of him around here!

A kind welcome from Ontario, Ash. Chase is a handsome little boy, it's nice to know he's good at supporting your older dog.

Grass and ball or just grass? Sounds like he's a pretty chill guy. It's great to have you both around.

He likes to play with his flirt pole outside, but he will literally just collapse in ANY grass, even in a walk!

Thank you for the welcome!

Welcome, Ash! Chase sounds like a solid mix of helpful coworker and part-time lawn ornament. Love that he’s already earning his keep and perfecting the art of relaxation, true shepherd priorities right there.

Aw, Chase is adorable! “My cow” made me laugh, that’s such a perfect nickname for a puppy who loves grass and snacks. That’s so sweet that he’s helping your senior dog, too. How’s he been adjusting to his new buddy so far?
The two of them are inseparable. They had a rough start (the reactive senior was reactive) but after four days of adjusting the two of them began to play and see eye to eye. Now they're RIDICULOUSLY close, and even make sure if one gets treats, the other gets them too.

Aww that’s the sweetest thing ever. I love that they look out for each other like that! Sounds like they’ve really figured out their balance. Chase must have some serious puppy charm to win over a reactive senior that fast

I call the puppies "vacuum cleaners" because they find dirt and grime all over my house that i never saw was there 🤣
