It's 100X a day. For example, he wants to chew the area rug. He knows he's not allowed too. He'll carry a chew toy over to the corner of the rug and drop it on the rug, look around and start chewing the rug right next to the chew toy.
I'll give a firm "Hey!" and he'll stop and stare at me. Then he'll pick up the chew toy and walk away from the rug, all while looking defeated. Oh my gosh, that visual is too real!
