Best Nail Trimming Solution?

Mine hate having their paws touched and are a bit too anxious for groomers so I do basic grooming myself. Their nails are so thick that I sometimes worry I’m crushing versus cutting. What trimmers are you guys using to get through this breed’s thick, tough nails?
I use Safari Deluxe nail clippers, not the guillotine kind, in the large size. i find they're quick and sharp so it's not an impending pressure bearing down on the nail for a moment before the loud crack of the cut. If they do have anxiety surrounding nail clippers though, DEFINITELY take Andre's advice! It's so much easier to retrain on a new tool and the grinders work fast and effectively.
I had a friend who was a groomer that used grinders for nails. She said it was way easier to go slow and that there's no pressure created in the same way nail cutters do.

Only issue was the sound. Some dogs hated it.
I wonder if a happy hoody paired with the grinder might eliminate that the way it does for the dryers?

So Pippin is a work in progress with this still. 3 years and counting lol! She absolutely hates having nails done. No matter what treats still nope. I found she freaks out the most with nail clippers. I have two dremel tools. She does the best with the quieter wireless one and loads of treats. All dogs are different. I had to take an approach of Pip we are doing this even though you hate it.

I'm also having a hard time finding a good solution to this. Dio lets me touch his paws but pulls them away when I try using either a grinder or clippers and it's always a battle to really cut them without him being sedated basically.
