Foot wound? Hotspot?

Noticed my boy chewing at/licking this spot on his foot for a couple days last week but didn't think much of it, but then I noticed it appeared to be red and looked raw or like it had been possibly bleeding. Feeling it, it feels like a bit raised like it's swollen or something. He's not acting any differently, but idk what this is. Any ideas?
