Was told about this site on Reddit, looks really cool and I'm happy to have been invited/told about this awesome GSD community!

Here is my soul dog Maliketh!
He is a 2 year old GSD (I have a embark test in progress to see if he has any mixes!) rescue! He was found on a ranch and I took him in. He has taught me a lot, and I have helped him a lot! We are currently interested in PSA and Schutzhund for the fun of it! My journey with him has just started, and can't wait for the many more years of partnership! 1000007507.png

Thank you! It’s honestly been a huge learning process for both of us. I’m actually newer to dog training, so I’m learning just as much from him as he is from me. He was severely lacking structure before, but giving him a job really unlocked his talent. It turns out he has amazing drive, we just needed a place to channel it! We are still early in the process, so things are just kicking off!

It’s going! It’s been a process for both of us. We are focusing heavily on foundation work right now since he was severely lacking structure when I got him. The 'work' has really unlocked his talent though, he has really good drive, so now it's just about channeling it correctly while I learn the ropes and build connections with the other handlers and decoys at my local club! Such a amazing community!
 
Welcome in. Love that you’re diving into PSA and Schutzhund with him just for the joy of the grind. That’s where the best partnerships come from, not chasing titles, just building something together because the dog thrives on it.

Excited to see where your journey with him goes.

I really appreciate that! It’s definitely a steep learning curve for me, but building that communication with him has been the best part. We have a long way to go, but the fun never stops! Glad to be here and I appreciate the warm welcome!
