“Watch Him” to “Guard” transition.

it’s not perfect, but typically i need some slight pressure assistance from her prong to settle her down into a bark and hold from her activation command. but after 4 sessions of working her through that transition, i think she’s really starting to understand and use her brain a little more to go from level 100 back to level.. 50 per say. We will get better with our transitions and start working from a long line once I can clarify her guard command a little bit better!! But for today, awesome work and great finishing rep Not bad miss B!!

That’s awesome progress, those transitions are one of the hardest things to smooth out, especially with a dog who brings that much intensity. You can tell she’s starting to think through it now instead of just reacting, which is huge. The prong guidance is perfectly fine at this stage, it’s just communication, not correction. Once that “guard” cue gets crystal clear, the long line work is going to look really sharp. Great work from both of you!
