It's the end of October. The weather is turning for the worst and the days are getting shorter. For sure I work the dog in almost any weather but there's going to be days where going out doors isn't on the bingo card. We'll have to work indoors.

My plans include:

- Improving the front.
- Fixing the stand (finally)
- Teaching opposite side heel.
- Quiet queue.
- Speeding up the out. (It's very good as is, looking to see if I can make it reflexive.)
- Brushing up on directional leash pressure.

We might do all of these, we might only get to some of these. I dunno. I'm spitballing. I gotta put pen to paper and think it through.

Looks like a good list. I am quite surprised you guys haven't done "quiet" already. Is Bomber not very vocal or does he save it for working?

No, he really isn't that vocal naturally. BUT I've taught him to "activate" me during play by barking. He now barks with a lot of power. But he's also barking outside of our play now. So, I have to teach him to stop barking too. I didn't want to inhibit his barking early on, he really feels great about himself when doing it but it's just about time to teach it.

Love this plan, perfect timing with the shorter days. I’m especially curious about making the out more reflexive… which one are you starting with first? Also, do you set up a specific space indoors for this (mats/cones/place boards), or just work wherever you’ve got room? Would love to see a quick clip when you try a session!

My house is 90 years old. I have an ugly, but open, unfinished basement. All of the highest level dog training happens between the Christmas decorations and old boxes. 😆
