This is a photo of Murphy begging for food in the living room, 15 feet away from where I am standing in my kitchen (camera is zoomed in 5X)

How did I do it? Murphy only get ANYTHING if she is at least this distance away from me. At first, I would put her in a down and then walk the treats over to her. Now I just throw them at her.

She never comes to my feet to beg anymore. She picks a spot appropriately far away and stares like this LMAO.

Lmao, the intensity of that stare! Looks like she is trying to use telekinesis to get the food over to the couch.

Honestly though this is a great compromise. She still gets to participate, and you don't trip over her. The distance beg is a valid strat!
