Embark results, less gsd than I thought, super interesting though!

I got my embark results back and I am pretty surprised! He is a lot less gsd than I thought, although I suspected some mix, I wasn't thinking malinois! So I guess he's my little mutt now XD

I posted the rest of the stats in my journal, just wanted to share the breed makeup here!

I would say so! Honestly I don't notice much of the husky in him. The only things that tips it off are his coat which is softer than usual and the way his tail curls slightly when he gets excited. Also maybe his weird sleeping positions could be something from that XD

I actually see the Malinois quite a bit in his drive, he is super toy and food motivated and VERY mouthy, although luckily heis gentle on me, but absolutely destroys his toys XD.

I'd say the GSD really shines through with how much he loves patrolling the yard. He is also very much a Velcro dog. He definitely has endless energy, but he matches my energy well, he will chill if I'm chilling, but once we start playing, he is pretty persistent until he's tuckered out. He is pretty vocal, but it's definitely more of the GSD whining/barking than the Husky wooo wooo lol

His DNA definitely makes him one quirky dog, he is very dynamic to say the least haha

Omg he's beautiful 😍
I'm curious personality wise how does he compare to his lineage? Does he have behavior that just screams "oh, there's the husky" or something? Regardless, he's gorgeous...and I'm slightly jealous you got that adorable sweater on him and lived.

Personality wise I’d say he still fits the mold of a GSD pretty closely. He is very loyal and very attached to me, pretty protective, eager to please, and intelligent.

However, I do see bits of the Malinois come through in his drive. He is extremely food and toy motivated, and loves to use his mouth for everything. Also, when he gets overstimulated from playing or training, he definitely starts to show some of that signature Malinois intensity

I honestly don’t see much of the Husky in him. Granted, I don’t have much experience with Huskies, but given that he is 75% herding breed, those traits seem to shine through much more than the Nordic ones
