This is our girl Maisy. She’s 10 months old and all velociraptor and heart. Favorite pastimes are annoying her 12 year old Aussie brother Jake and her two cat friends, making a mess out of whatever she can get her teeth on, and learning new “chicken tricks”! Besides the other animals she has 3 human siblings ages 5, 7, & 10 who alternate between absolutely adoring her and being frustrated because they still haven’t learned that when they run, she wants to herd them!

Hey PitaGirl, welcome to our community! Sounds like you've got yourself a pretty special girl with Maisy. She's beautiful.

It must be pretty amusing to watch her herd the kids hahah.

we’re actually learning to throw away trash right now! I figure I’ll teach the dog then maybe the kids will finally get it! 😂😂
 
I mean… still better than me right?!?

In all seriousness, we’re being very selective about what Maisy can throw away for us. Nothing small, nothing that once contained food, etc. so it’s not a perfect system but she has a job that will be helpful. At least until evolutionary can give them thumbs!
 
Welcome! Maisy sounds like the perfect mix of chaos and heart, 10 months is prime velociraptor age. The herding the kids part made me laugh… if they run, they consented as far as she’s concerned. Sounds like she’s got a full house and a full job already. Glad you’re here, looking forward to watching Maisy grow up and cause just the right amount of trouble around the forum.
