Hi I'm Dee.

She used to love the water. We live near the sea but not quite close enough to walk and now she's getting too old to get into the car. She's still pretty mobile but hurt herself last time getting in and out so now we just do short walks up the lane. It's a pity because she adored travelling. She still likes to play with her puzzle toys and squeaky ball. Her favourite game is 'scare away the nasty bin truck'. She sits and watches through the glass door and gives them hell.

My dogs have always loved the water too; in their older ages, it was just to get their feet wet a bit. It's fun to watch the different stages of our dogs' lives.

I am sure she does a super job scaring away the bin trucks.

Welcome, Dee and Tess is absolutely beautiful. Eleven years with a Shepherd is something special, you can see the wisdom and softness in her eyes. Senior dogs have a way of carrying themselves that only comes from a life well lived.

Really glad you’re both here. Looking forward to having your perspective and stories as part of the community.
