Shield K9 is a Canadian based dog training owned and operated by Haz Othman. Haz is an accomplished trainer in all aspects of dog training. Police, protection, sport and pet dog disciplines.
He has numerous regional IGP championships, he won the Canadian national championship and has placed in the top 10 in worlds in recent years.
I'm a huge proponent of the Shield Methodology. It's the entire basis of my own training. It's fair, balanced, consistent and effective.
Im a self-taught DIY trainer. I spent thousands on Internet based training programs over the years. Most are incomplete at best and flat out bad at worst. I have found some that are really good though.
The best, most complete, user friendly program I have found is Shield K9 online training. I have the elite package which gives me access to the entire catalog. My current dog is about to be 10 months old and we can go just about anywhere and do just about anything off leash if we please. I credit this to what I've learned from Shield K9.
