Murphy the Wonder Dog

🧁 Homemade Treats!

Today I made a homemade treat concoction that Murphy LOVED. Here was my process.

This morning, I made Mango Pineapple Yogurt for breakfast, and decided to share it with my best friend! I took the mango blend and added it to the yogurt. I then put it in the blender with some oats to make a thicker consistency. When adding the yogurt to the silicone tray, I first drizzled the mango pineapple concentrate, then added the blended yogurt. Finally, I topped it off with more yogurt!

Here are some photos of the finished product!

Sounds super good and nutritious!

Today we are working on "Sit Pretty". I don't like teaching this trick before growth plates are closed, and I think it's bad for the joints, especially for such a big dog, but it will be an only sometimes trick, and not apart of our main routine. Just something fun I've never taught a dog before.

How's this going?

I knew someone who used it to help put people at ease around his GSD. There's something very non-threatening about it.

She's got down that I want her paws off of the ground. Now I'm working on shaping the behavior to be in the upright sit position, and when I'm done with that, we will work on duration until I can get a photo!
