I'm so jealous of the frisbee play. My dog LOVES chase & catch but he never really cared for frisbee.
That still sounds awesome! She's my first dog (of many) that just naturally knew fetch. She has always returned whatever I throw which is nice. The downside to the frisbee love is being woken up to her dropping a frisbee on my face at 5am!

I had to teach frisbee as a trick!

Hours and hours of throwing the frisbee, rewarding for getting close to it. Jackpots for catching it. Now I can throw two frisbees with one hand and she can catch both in succession!!!

Don't hate, but I learned it from Zak George. He is a frisbee freak and has really good videos on how to train this.

Our favorite thing recently has been throwing the ball in the snow, or getting a pup cup!

I’ll have to show my mom the coffee company!
My husband is constantly making fun of me for riding through the Starbucks drive through with my "two designer dogs", my imported German line GSD, and Poochon. 😎

Murphy licks the cup with little bleps like a distinguished lady ☕

Honestly this is going to sound dumb but I love when my girl is laying on her side next to me and I just pet her head/cheeks/ears. The look of pure trust and devotion that she gives me is just so sweet. I tell her she’s a good girl when I do this hah
Doggy massages are so underappreciated as bonding activities. They're so warm, and their heartbeat, and they're soft ... I'm gonna go hug my dog now 😭😭😭

Thank you to everyone who took part in this week’s QOTW, the responses were awesome to read, and it’s great seeing the community join in on this fun event.

This week’s winner is…
@murph! 🎊
My favorite thing to do with Murphy lately is wrestle.

Murphy was my first dog. I knew nothing about canine behavior or body language, and her size intimidated me. One of the biggest lessons Murphy has taught me is confidence.

For 5 years I never got down on the floor on her level and just wrestled with her. She's very big, her canines are an inch long. She is very intimidating to most people.

I wrestled with her for the first time around 2 months ago. Just on the ground puppy kind of wrestling. It was the funnest thing of my life. Five years of working on bite inhibition, and appropriate play, I wish I would have had more confidence in my dog and myself.

To other people, it would be so obvious that my dog and I would be able to play like this, but I wasn't confident in my dog, and especially myself.

We had so much fun. We wrestle all the time now.
Congratulations Murph! 🎊 You now also hold the QOTW Champion Trophy! Join in for the next QOTW to defend your holding.
We’ll be reaching out shortly to get your shipping details so German Shepherd Coffee Company can send your prize directly to you.

Huge shoutout to German Shepherd Coffee Co. for collaborating with us this week and supporting the HQ community. Stay tuned, next week’s QOTW drops soon.
