My dog will be 10 months old in a few days. Despite his larger then life size and personality, he's still very much a puppy. He still has that exuberant puppy energy and periodic lack of impulse control.

My in-law visited tonight. She hasn't been at the house in a few months and we don't get visitors to begin with. I was certain that my dog would have lost his mind apon seeing company.

When my in-law showed up and got settled in, I took Bomber out of his kennel and let him say hello, while on a leash. He was definitely excited and needed his leash for the first few minutes or so. BUT he was really good and relaxed quickly. He was affectionate but not overbearing. Everyone was surprised that he didn't try to run her over. LOL!

I was pleasantly surprised. It's a small win and I'll take it.

That's good. Maybe she needs to visit more to give Bomber some more opportunities to practice
Indeed. It's been discussed but she's getting up there in years and doesn't like to leave her house so much anymore.

That’s such an awesome win, I can totally imagine how proud you must’ve felt! Seems like Bomber’s really starting to mature and settle into himself. Love hearing moments like this, the little wins are the best ones.
