Warning wet paint

Can anyone out there tell me how a GS finds wet paint every time, no matter how much you block things off or cover things over if the paint is wet Samson will accidentally brush against it with his full body. It’s always light paint as well as my boy is all black, I tell you I give up, I’m trying to get a picture but he is not having it

Let's just say I'm thankful we didn't have to redo the concrete pad.
