Here’s Rexy. By science, she’s 3/4 Shepard and 1/4 Malinios. By my time with her, I think she’s got more than the math says of Mal in her. She has the face of a Shepard and coloring of a Mal with black ears and tip of tail in til the black tail end grew out. 9 months old. She is an absolute fur missile, velociraptor and has not time for chilling. And then, she the sweetest lil thang I’ve ever met.

I was always a Lab owner until I stole my first Shepard from my wife. I never felt loyalty and love like I got from her. She’s on my forearm for life with that look she’d give me when she knew I was up to no good.

Such a wonderful breed.

We are still figuring out how to exhaust her. Ball is life and job. She’s been fighting a parasite and then is going to do a board and train. She is smart and knows many commands but doesn’t respect no or do the commands when told yet lol.

She is 100% on until she’s sleeping. She knows how to turn on the cuteness to try and get her way.

Definitely look into buying a flirt pole. They're a GOD SEND. My 6 month puppy is literally an addict for his.

Haha sounds like Rexy’s got that classic shepherd drive, all gas, no brakes. Ball-obsessed ones can be such a challenge to tire out mentally and physically. The board and train should help give her some structure to balance that energy. Once she learns that “off switch,” life gets a lot easier for both of you.
