I fell in love with the Freestyle Obedience dance performances at Crufts, so we do a lot of movement work as I reach Chase to dance with me. It's not even a party trick or anything, I just do it for me because I think it's fun, and he LOVES it.
I feel exactly where you're coming from. I didn't realize how much I would love Chase until it hit me one day that he already is as important to me as my rescue dog I've known for like a decade.

When I do laundry, Chase NEEDS to have his head basically IN the dryer as I load and unload it. He's not just supervising, he's in the trenches with me! Interestingly, once the clothes are away from the dryer, he doesn't care about them.
